Fall in Texas is a glorious thing. Like in most places, I suppose. But Texas has a crisis of seasons, and we get the rogue 80-degree November day. Doesn't bother me though, I view it as a last chance to wear favorite items in my closet, before packing them away until next year. The cut of this top says Summer, but the colors together make it still suitable for Fall. Around here, anyway.

I wear leopard like a neutral...pairing it with almost anything that goes with black or brown. As for mixing it with other patterns, I'd probably stick with just stripes or solids. When it gets chillier, I'll probably add this denim jacket or this cardigan, and swap the shoes out for something like these.

These kinds of ruffly tops are my favorites...so great alone, or peeking out of a jacket or sweater. Maybe the ruffle reminds me of a popped collar, and you know I love that look.

Mr. SP thinks I pull my skirts up too high. But I think it makes my legs look longer. And since when is he Tim Gunn, anyway?!
