My same simple formula for transitioning your wardrobe to Fall, applies to wearing your white jeans in the colder months. As long as your pants aren't made of a seasonal fabric like linen or eyelet, then you're good to go! I took a poll on my Facebook page about this type of post, and you overwhelmingly voted to see the outfits both laid out on the bed, and on me. And I'm nothing if not a people-pleaser...so here you go!
My favorite combination for Winter is layering on the winter-whites and camel tones....bright and fresh, but still season appropriate.
My military vest has already seen a lot of action this season...mostly paired with white jeans!
And don't forget you can still dress them up for nights on the town.
And because I'm feeling giddy over our bathroom progress, I've got a bonus 6th outfit for you. But I was sweating too much after the first five to actually model it for you. (Texas doesn't know it's Fall yet.)
But I will leave you with this outtake. I have no idea what's happening here, but my photographer is fired! Good free help is hard to find! And did you notice my jeans are a little higher-waisted? I'm trying out a new (to me) brand...NYDJ (not your daughter's jeans). I'm so used to a low-rise that it took me a little while to get used to, but I have to say, it's nice not worrying about body parts falling out. They do run a tad big, so fortunately I'd ordered a few sizes. (Thanks Nordstrom for free shipping and returns!)
Have I convinced you to pull your white jeans out again? Or do you already mock 'the rules' and wear them year-round? Happy hump day, lovebugs! (See more {5 Ways} posts here.)
