Today I'm sharing a fun and simple little Halloween wreath I whipped up. If you can tie a knot and work a glue-gun, you can have one in less than an hour, too.
All you need is a wire wreath form and tulle ribbon. You could use a wire hanger to create your own form, but I usually pick mine up from Wal-mart (the cheapest source).
No that's not Erykah Badu's weave, but a pile of tulle cut into 10-inch strips.
Then just start tying the pieces to the form. After one or two you'll think you've lost your mind and it's going to take you the better part of a week. But calm down, it really only takes about 20 minutes.
The closer the pieces are together, the more you'll need, so don't push them too tight.
Once the form is covered, I hot-glued Dollar Store skull-heads to it. I prefer my Halloween decor to be more creepy than cutsey, but you could easily swap out the skulls for something more your style.
Loop a piece of coordinating ribbon around the top, and Voila!
Looks pretty cool next to our Hitchcock-inspired mantel, right? The wreath actually ends up somewhere else that I'll show you later this week.
Now who's ready to party?! I absolutely love all things Halloween, and can't wait to see what you've whipped up! Expect them to pop up on my All Hallows Eve Pinterest board for my inspiration next year...and I'll feature my favorites next week.
