Well, the laundry is done and our fridge has food again, but I'm still not back in the real-world zone. I think that's the sign of a good vacation....I unplugged so completely, that I can't find my way back yet.
Time flies so quickly, it seems the kid's birthdays grow closer together every year. I'm desperate to make it stop, to freeze them at each delicious age. That's why it's even more important for me to step away from all those little things demanding my time, and focus on the people who's time in my home is fleeting.
Last week, the three of us left computers, video games, and distractions behind, and loaded the car for our best friends in Nashville. We moseyed our way there, and spent nights in Memphis and Little Rock, with a lot of adventure in between.
