Date Night Style, Vol 2

I had so much fun doing the first <a href="http://hisugarplum.blogspot.com/2014/06/date-night-style.html" target="_blank">Date Night Style post</a>, I recruited Mr. Sugarplum to do another with me last weekend. He'd probably like me to tell you it took a lot of persuading and 'favors' on my part. But it really didn't. Family Fun at the Fair

Last Friday, we surprised the kids by pulling them from school early<i> (a rarity for us!),</i> and whisked them to the State Fair of Texas. The Fair is known as one of Dallas' signature events, and has taken place virtually every year since 1886! Love of Red, White & Blue

Regardless of the<i> </i>patriotic semblance, I'm a big fan of combining red, white and blue. It's such a fresh and classic combination. Date Night Style

Last week I shared how Mr. SP and I carve out <a href="http://hisugarplum.blogspot.com/2014/06/ice-cream-sundae-cones.html" target="_blank">date nights at home</a>...or <a href="http://hisugarplum.blogspot.com/2014/06/ice-cream-sundae-cones.html" target="_blank">'couch dates'</a> as we call them. But about once a month, I put on a dress and high-heels, and we leave the couch behind, for a date night out. Usually it's just dinner, and sometimes a movie.
